The teenager’s classy first-half finish helped Marseille snap Lens’s formidable 10-game winning streak across all competitions.
The hosts set a ferocious pace, taking the lead inside three minutes through Amine Gouiri. But the moment of the half belonged to their new signing. Just after the ten-minute mark, Nwaneri—fresh from Arsenal’s Hale End academy—collected the ball, drove purposefully at the defense, and cut inside before curling a beautiful shot into the bottom corner.
