TV and Radio Presenter Stays Positive Despite Online Criticism
Nigerian TV and radio presenter Toke Makinwa recently addressed an online troll who mocked her for being unmarried.
Toke had shared her thoughts on TikTok about the buzz surrounding music star Davido and Chioma’s marriage, highlighting the pressure on single people, including herself.
A Twitter user named Nelson Oluu commented on her relationship status, stating, “You have passed the single era, you are now unmarried.”
In response, the 39-year-old media personality expressed her belief that she will eventually get married. She optimistically added that the commenter would be alive to congratulate her when that day comes.
Toke replied, “God will do my own and you’ll be alive to congratulate me. Happy Sunday o.”
Her positive and gracious response showcases her resilience and hopeful outlook.
