Transfer gossip: Man Utd among four eyeing Gent goalscorer as Liverpool monitor Eredivisie duo

Manchester United and Chelsea are among a Premier League quartet keen on Gift Orban, while the Red Devils also have competition for Kim Min-jae…

PSG RIVALLING UNITED FOR NAPOLI STAR
Manchester United are finalising their summer transfer plans, according to The Mirror. Which would be no mean feat amid a chaotic takeover saga.

Christ knows who will own United by the transfer window opens. Quite likely, it will still be the Glazers, who won’t fancy footing the bill for new signings for the benefit of either Sheikh Jassim or Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

So it comes as no surprise that Adrien Rabiot is back on the current shortlist since he will be free once his Juventus contract expires at the end of June. Around that time, Kim Min-jae will be available for a reasonable price too, at around his market value even Napoli feel they could get more that £51million for the South Korea centre-back. But United have a two-week window to pounce, and reports suggest they have already got their ducks in a row.

The Red Devils will have competition. RMC Sport says PSG are also making plans for Kim, apparently having already sat down with the 26-year-old’s agent.

HALF OF BIG SIX EYEING ORBAN
United are also among a quartet of Premier League clubs eyeing up Gift Orban.

The 20-year-old striker has scored 19 goals – including two braces, two hat-tricks and a four-goal haul – in 19 games for Gent this season after joining from Stabaek in January. Under contract until 2027, Gent reckon they could already cash in and collect a big fee for the forward having paid only £2.5million to sign him.

The Evening Standard says United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Fulham have all been to watch Orban in action. Last month it was suggested Gent could earn £20million by selling this summer.

REDS KEEN ON KOKCU
Liverpool are looking for midfielders and they have reached the stage of looking for an alternative to the alternative to Jude Bellingham.

The Reds pulled out of the race to sign the England star because of the many pressures on their budget this summer. Their Plan B is Alexis Mac Allister, but with competition building for the Argentina World Cup winner, Liverpool are also considering other options.

One is Orkun Kokcu. The 22-year-old currently plays for Feyenoord and has been watched by Manchester United recently too. But according to Football Transfers, Liverpool are keen on the Turkey international, as well as AZ Alkmaar’s Tijani Reijnders.
