Transfer Rumors: Man Utd Sets Jadon Sancho Price Amid PSG Interest; Chelsea and West Ham Eye Key Moves

Big names on the move as Manchester United, Chelsea, and West Ham prepare for summer transfers

Manchester United have reportedly set a price for winger Jadon Sancho amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Meanwhile, Chelsea could see six players leave after being excluded from their pre-season squad, and West Ham may get a clear path to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Additionally, former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has multiple options for his next move.

Man Utd Set Jadon Sancho Price Amid PSG Interest

Manchester United are open to selling Jadon Sancho, with PSG showing interest in the winger. United have set an asking price of around £40 million for the player. According to The Mirror, “Jadon Sancho could be offered an escape route from Manchester United by Paris St Germain – but only if they are willing to pay up to £40 million for him.”

Sancho recently returned to training with United after spending the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, following a public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag. Despite a recent reconciliation, United are looking to recoup around half of the £73 million they paid Dortmund for Sancho in 2021.

Chelsea Leave Six Players Out of Pre-Season Squad

Chelsea have left six notable players out of their pre-season tour squad, sparking speculation about their futures at the club.

Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Trevoh Chalobah, Cesare Casadei, David Datro Fofana, and Malang Sarr were not included in the 28-man squad traveling to the United States.

The Daily Mail reports, “Some big names have been left out of Chelsea’s US pre-season tour, with uncertainty over the futures of six players in particular.” The omissions suggest that these players could leave Stamford Bridge permanently this summer.

West Ham Eye Aaron Wan-Bissaka as Man Utd Pursue Mazraoui

West Ham’s chances of signing Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka have improved following United’s interest in Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui. The Evening Standard writes, “West Ham’s hopes of signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka have been boosted after Manchester United expressed an interest in Bayern Munich full-back Noussair Mazraoui.”

Wan-Bissaka is in the final year of his contract, and United are ready to cash in on him this summer. West Ham are in the market for a new right-back after Ben Johnson left for Ipswich.

David de Gea Weighs Options in Europe, Saudi Arabia, and the US

Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is poised to return to football this summer, with options in Italy, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. The Athletic reports, “This week, we reported in the Transfer DealSheet that he is nearing a return to football after being presented with several options, including one club each from Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Italy.”

De Gea’s preferred option is on the West Coast of the US, but there is also a chance he will stay in Europe. He has no offers from Spain and is not considering playing for another English club other than United.
