Music Executive Slams “Fabricated” Story of Abuja Hotel Brawl
Nigerian music executive Ubi Franklin has shut down swirling rumors that he was involved in a physical fight with celebrity bartender and socialite Cubana Chief Priest. Reports had gone viral claiming the two clashed in a heated altercation at Abuja’s Transcorp Hilton Hotel, with some blogs quoting an “eyewitness” who described the supposed brawl as intense.
However, Franklin has dismissed the story as entirely false, taking to his Instagram Story to mock those who believed it. In a since-deleted post, he called out the credibility of the reports, particularly targeting one blog for chasing clout.
“Anyone who believes this story, especially the narrative on Instablog written by a blogger in an attempt for relevance, is a f**l lol,” he wrote.
No further evidence or statements have emerged to support the alleged fight, leaving fans to question whether the drama was ever real or just another exaggerated online rumor. Franklin’s sharp response suggests he’s more amused than annoyed—but definitely not throwing punches.
