Nigerian striker makes an impact off the bench in 3-0 win over Antalyaspor.
Victor Osimhen made a triumphant return to action for Galatasaray, coming off the bench to score a spectacular goal in their 3-0 victory against Antalyaspor. After being sidelined due to injury, the Nigerian forward was included in the matchday squad but did not start as a precaution.
With Galatasaray already two goals up, Osimhen entered the game in the 78th minute and quickly added firepower to the attack. Though his first goal in the 81st minute was ruled out, the former Napoli star was undeterred. In stoppage time, he netted a stunning overhead kick, sealing the win for the Turkish champions.
Osimhen’s performance is likely to earn him a starting spot in Galatasaray’s next fixture.
