Award-winning Nigerian music star Wizkid has shifted attention from his ongoing feud with fellow artist and long-time rival Davido to tease the release of his upcoming album. The Grammy-winning artist recently shocked fans with an extended social media tirade aimed at Davido, but he has now turned his focus back to his music.
For over 24 hours, Wizkid took aim at Davido in a series of tweets, criticizing his career and taking personal jabs at him. Wizkid claimed that Davido’s career was “wack” and accused those around him of being broke, despite constantly traveling with him. He also claimed that Davido doesn’t measure up to him in terms of music, fashion, or finances, stating, “Davido isn’t at my level.”
Despite the public fallout, Wizkid’s attention soon returned to his music. Taking to Instagram, he posted a video from London, where he hinted at the upcoming release of his much-anticipated album, A Peace Of My Heart. He captioned the video, “London! We had a blast. A Peace Of My Heart out soon.”
The tension between Wizkid and Davido dates back to the early days of their careers, with public spats flaring up periodically. Their last major altercation occurred in April when Wizkid posted a controversial video of Davido, which led to Davido accusing him of domestic abuse.
