Cardi B, the renowned rapper, is setting the record straight regarding recent rumors of infidelity. Taking to Twitter Spaces on Monday (June 26), she passionately shut down claims suggesting that she cheated on her husband, Offset.
In a three-minute clip, Cardi began by singing the opening lines of Keyshia Cole’s “I Should Have Cheated” before addressing the rumors head-on. “Listen. Don’t pay attention to that country man, y’all,” she declared. “Don’t pay attention to the country man. That Spaces the other day got motherf—ers spiraling and thinking s—. Come on now. I’m f—ing Cardi B, n—. Sometimes, mother—ers forget. I’m Cardi B. If I was giving this p—- to anybody, it wouldn’t just be anybody. I can’t sleep with regular-degular-shmegular folks ’cause they’re gonna tell the world. And I can’t sleep with anybody in the industry ’cause they’ll spill the beans too. Have y’all ever heard that Rubi Rose record where she says, ‘got a big a– mouth?'”
She concluded her message by asserting, “So please, boys, stop acting stupid. Stop acting stupid. Going crazy over a f—ing Space. Don’t play with me. What the f—. Stop playing. That’s all I’m gonna mother—ing say.”
Cardi’s response came following a series of events, starting with another audio message she shared on Twitter Spaces over the weekend. In that message, she addressed those attempting to disrupt her marriage. “Every time you try to bring turmoil to my marriage, I’m just saying, y’all know what’s gonna happen next. We’re gonna get a divorce, and people are gonna be nosy and mad happy,” she expressed. “I’m gonna make an album, and people are gonna wanna hear the album because of it. Another rich n—- is gonna cuff me. And what? What point are y’all trying to make?”
Interestingly, just hours before Cardi’s latest Spaces session defending herself, Offset, her husband, seemingly posted and promptly deleted an Instagram Story accusing her of infidelity. This added further fuel to the already raging rumor mill surrounding their relationship.
