D’banj Thanks Olamide for Writing New Song “Koko”

Celebrates 20 Years in Music Industry with Special Track

Prominent Nigerian singer, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to fellow artist Olamide for writing his newly released song, “Koko.”

Celebrating his 20th year in the music industry, D’banj took to Instagram to ask his fans what the word ‘Koko’ has meant to them from 2004 to the present. He shared a video of himself and friends dancing to the new track, which is part of his upcoming album.

D’banj praised Olamide, the YBNL boss, for crafting the song and also acknowledged the producer, Eskeezondbeat.

He wrote, “What does the Koko mean to you since ’04 and right now in 2024? ‘Koko’ from my upcoming album out now! Big shoutout to my brother @olamide Baddo LEE for blessing me with this jam and to the amazing producer @eskeezondbeat. You can call this ‘The new KoKo anthem’! Run it up!”
