Diddy Arrested in Manhattan Following Grand Jury Indictment

Music Mogul Faces Charges, Legal Team Denounces Prosecution

Sean Combs, the American rapper and producer known as Diddy, was arrested in Manhattan after a grand jury indictment, according to his lawyer Marc Agnifilo. The arrest, which occurred late on September 16, has sparked widespread media attention, with outlets such as CNN and NBC News confirming the news.

Agnifilo expressed disappointment over the decision to prosecute, stating, “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.” He emphasized that while Combs is not a perfect person, he is not a criminal.

Combs, who voluntarily relocated to New York in anticipation of the charges, has been fully cooperative with the investigation, according to his legal team. “These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court,” Agnifilo added, urging the public to withhold judgment until all facts are presented.
