Public Exchange on Instagram Sparks Drama between Celebrity Couple
Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, found herself embroiled in a public exchange with her former fiancé Ryan Taylor on social media, igniting a wave of drama that captured the attention of fans.
The controversy erupted after Cuppy took to Instagram to share a post asserting that she no longer encounters her exes because they cannot afford to frequent the places she visits.
Accompanying a photo of herself on the social media platform, Cuppy’s caption read: “I never run into my ex’s… They can’t afford to be where I be without me.”
In response to Cuppy’s cryptic message, Ryan Taylor swiftly fired back, leaving a comment on her post hours later.
Reacting in the comments section, Taylor wrote: “Neither can you.”
Cuppy’s highly publicized relationship with Ryan Taylor was a whirlwind affair that captivated both fans and the media. The couple’s romance began in 2022 and culminated in an engagement within a mere 25 days.
However, their seemingly perfect relationship encountered turbulence when rumors of discord surfaced in July 2023, ultimately leading to their breakup.
The termination of her engagement with Taylor marked a significant moment for Cuppy. Although she confirmed the breakup with the 30-year-old British boxer and YouTube personality, Cuppy has chosen to keep the reasons for their split private.
Following her split from Taylor, Cuppy has been seen spending time with Super Eagles and Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis. Their friendship, which predates Dennis’s national team debut in 2019, has sparked rumors of a potential romance, further fueling gossip about Cuppy’s love life.
