Femi Adebayo’s Netflix Film “Jagun Jagun” Scores 12 Nominations for 2024 BON Awards

Nollywood actor and producer Femi Adebayo is celebrating a major milestone as his Netflix Original Yoruba movie, Jagun Jagun, has received 12 nominations for the 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards. The film, which premiered in 2023, has quickly captivated audiences and critics alike, earning nominations in several prestigious categories.

The nominations for Jagun Jagun include Best Indigenous Film, Best Supporting Actor, Director of the Year, Best Cinematography, Best Costume, Best Sound, Best Soundtrack, Best Production Design, Best Special Effects, and Best Actress.

Adebayo expressed his excitement on social media, posting on his X handle: “Wow, Guys! We’ve done it again!! Delighted to announce that JAGUN JAGUN – THE WARRIOR (a Netflix Original Movie) has been nominated for Twelve (12) Awards at the 2024 BON Awards.”

This recognition follows the film’s recent success at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), where it secured seven nominations. The film continues to receive widespread acclaim for its storytelling, performances, and technical achievements.
