Barcelona bounce back with dominant performance in European clash
Robert Lewandowski netted twice as Barcelona dismantled Young Boys of Bern with a commanding 5-0 win in the UEFA Champions League. After suffering a setback in their opening match against Monaco, Barcelona responded in style to secure their first points of the campaign.
Lewandowski opened the scoring just eight minutes in, setting the tone for the match. Raphinha and Iñigo MartÃnez added goals before halftime, as the Spanish giants dominated the Swiss side. Though Young Boys managed a few chances, Barcelona’s relentless attack could have widened the score even further.
Lewandowski’s second goal came in the 51st minute, sealing the victory before an own goal by Mohamed Ali Camara rounded off the 5-0 thrashing.
Barcelona now head into a highly anticipated clash against Bayern Munich, while Young Boys, who have conceded eight goals across two games, face a daunting test against Inter.
