Pep Guardiola’s side surrenders three-goal lead in dramatic Champions League tie.
Manchester City’s struggles deepened as they squandered a commanding three-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League, extending their winless streak to six matches under Pep Guardiola.
City appeared to be cruising after Erling Haaland scored twice—once in each half—either side of a deflected volley from Ilkay Gundogan. But Feyenoord staged a stunning comeback in the final 15 minutes, capitalizing on defensive lapses to leave Guardiola’s side reeling.
The turnaround began in the 75th minute when Anis Hadj Moussa punished a costly error by Josko Gvardiol to score Feyenoord’s first. Substitute Santiago Gimenez then slotted in from close range, setting the stage for David Hancko’s dramatic header to complete the comeback.
While the draw ended City’s five-game losing streak, the result will feel more like a defeat given the collapse. The team remains outside the top eight in the revamped Champions League standings, raising concerns about their form as the season progresses.
Guardiola, enduring his worst run as a manager, faces mounting pressure to turn things around as City’s Champions League hopes and domestic ambitions hang in the balance.
