Mason Greenwood, the talented forward of Manchester United, might have a shot at international football redemption through an unexpected avenue, as per a recent report.

On the international stage, it might appear unlikely for the 21-year-old to represent England again, but the Daily Mail’s report suggests that Jamaica could extend an unexpected second chance. Greenwood is eligible to play for Jamaica, and there seems to be a level of interest from the Jamaican Football Association (FA). Despite having already participated in a competitive fixture for England, Greenwood could potentially make a switch to the Reggae Boyz. However, permitting Greenwood to don Jamaican colors could potentially dent the reputation of an FA that has been under scrutiny for years, particularly in relation to its treatment of the women’s national team.
