In a surprising turn of events, 18-year-old Senegalese sensation Mikayil Faye has reportedly rejected Chelsea’s advances and opted to join Barcelona as his next destination. Reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano broke the news, revealing that Faye has chosen the Catalan club over other suitors in a deal worth €5 million-plus-add-ons.
Faye, a product of the esteemed Diambars FC Academy in Senegal, has made a name for himself as a left-footed center-back. However, his versatility also allows him to excel as a left-back.
