Renowned Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, recently addressed the fire incident that occurred at his Lagos residence on Sunday. The incident, which caused a blaze to engulf part of the house, was recorded by an unknown individual and shared on social media.
While the exact cause of the fire outbreak remains unknown, AY reassured his fans and well-wishers that his family was safe. At the time of the incident, AY’s family was reportedly on a holiday overseas, as revealed by the entertainer’s social media posts. However, it was not confirmed if AY was present in the building during the fire.
Taking to his Instagram page, the multi-talented movie producer, actor, and entertainer expressed gratitude to God for the safety of his family. He emphasized that family and faith in God are the most important aspects of his life. AY’s remarks indicated that he was not with his family during the incident and looked forward to reuniting with his wife and two children soon.
