Nigerian Rapper Ikechukwu Confirms End of Marriage Opens Up About Divorce in Candid Interview with Daddy Freeze (Video)

Ikechukwu Onunaku, the renowned Nigerian rapper-turned-actor professionally known as Ikechukwu, has publicly acknowledged the end of his marriage during a candid live interview with popular online media personality Daddy Freeze. The revelation sheds light on the challenges the musician faced in his personal life, citing irreconcilable differences as the primary reason for the dissolution of his union.

The hip hop star, who exchanged vows with his fiancée, Ella, in a star-studded ceremony in May 2021, disclosed the unfortunate news during the interview. While reflecting on the circumstances leading to the end of his marriage, Ikechukwu emphasized that the decision was not spurred by infidelity but rather by a culmination of factors that made the relationship untenable.

In his own words, Ikechukwu stated, “My wife and I are no longer together. We separated due to irreconcilable differences. It wasn’t over infidelity. There was too much gaslighting, too much looking for faults, and too much listening to outsiders.”

Expressing his efforts to salvage the relationship, Ikechukwu revealed that he reached a breaking point where he could no longer tolerate his ex-wife’s behaviors, prompting them to part ways. Despite his attempts to reconcile, the musician acknowledged the necessity of acknowledging his limits and prioritizing his well-being.

“I tried to save our marriage, but I got to a point where I couldn’t tolerate my ex-wife’s excesses anymore, and I showed her my other side, and we couldn’t bear it,” Ikechukwu added.
