During the interview, Davido stated, “Everybody knows that I was one of the first, me and Wizkid to blow up. It feels good also seeing that the new cats coming up; like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Rema, Asake, and Mayorkun.”
Davido’s remark sparked reactions from fans, particularly regarding his labeling of Burna Boy as a “new cat” on social media. In response, Nissi shared a video of Burna Boy performing in front of a massive crowd of over 80,000 fans at the London Stadium. She captioned the video with, “New cats are facing their hustle.”
