Award-winning Nollywood actress Evan Okoro has broken her silence in a desperate plea for help, revealing shocking details about her troubled marriage to Prince Chibuzor Nwachimelueze—including alleged death threats and emotional torment.
The couple, who had a traditional wedding on April 13, 2025, in Okoro’s hometown, is now at the center of a bitter public fallout. In a viral video, the distressed actress declared her intention to leave the union, accusing her husband of threatening to kill her if she dared to walk away.
“I’m Living in Fear” – Actress Speaks Out
Okoro, visibly shaken, shared her ordeal in the emotional clip: “My life is more important to me. The shoe I took home is not my size. I’m living in fear. If I don’t speak out now, I don’t know where I’ll be tomorrow. He’s threatening my life—I don’t want this marriage anymore.”
She revealed that she had already filed a police petition against her husband, who was reportedly detained for questioning at the time of her plea. Despite efforts to reconcile, she says all attempts to salvage the relationship have failed.
