Free Agent Works With Mainoo and Yoro Amid Monaco and Saudi Transfer Links
Paul Pogba has stepped up his comeback preparations, training alongside Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo and Leny Yoro as speculation grows about his next career move. The 32-year-old midfielder posted an Instagram story showing the trio recovering after an intense session near a running track, fueling rumors of a potential third stint at Old Trafford.

Pogba, who hasn’t played professionally since August 2023 due to a doping ban, appears close to resolving his future. Monaco are reportedly leading the chase with a two-year contract offer on the table, while Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad have entered negotiations hoping to pair him with French compatriots N’Golo Kanté and Karim Benzema.
The former Juventus and United star’s career looked in jeopardy when he received a four-year suspension last year, but a successful appeal reduced the ban to 18 months. He’s been training intensely since January, recently working with ex-United teammates Edinson Cavani and Ander Herrera in Miami. His social media post from the Hurricanes training ground – captioned “Here I come” – suggests a return to action could be imminent.
While Monaco appears the likely destination, Pogba’s surprise training session with United’s rising stars has sparked intrigue. The Frenchman remains a free agent after Juventus terminated his contract last November, and his next move could be confirmed before pre-season begins in earnest.
Wherever he lands, Pogba will be desperate to reignite a career that once made him the world’s most expensive midfielder. With his ban served and fitness returning, one of football’s most enigmatic talents may finally be ready for his second act.
