PSG Makes Massive Bid for Napoli Stars Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen

French Champions Offer €200 Million in Ambitious Move

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have reportedly made a stunning €200 million offer for Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen. Osimhen is widely expected to leave Napoli this season, while Kvaratskhelia has been declared not for sale by the Italian club.

Osimhen’s contract includes a €130 million release clause, but it’s uncertain if any club is willing to meet that price.

Real Madrid are not interested after signing Kylian Mbappe, Chelsea cannot afford him, Manchester United are signing Joshua Zirkzee, and Arsenal are unlikely to spend heavily on a striker. This leaves PSG as the leading contender for the Nigerian forward, especially after losing Mbappe.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

According to reports from Italy, PSG’s double bid for Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen comes after an unsuccessful €150 million bid for Osimhen last summer. Napoli remains firm on not selling Kvaratskhelia, who shined for Georgia at Euro 2024. However, Osimhen might be allowed to leave if a sufficient offer is made.

PSG previously offered €110 million for Kvaratskhelia, which was rejected by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis. While PSG is likely to succeed in signing Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia is considered “untouchable.”

Osimhen, who dreams of playing in the Premier League, has shown little interest in offers from Saudi Arabia. He is highly regarded by PSG sporting director Luis Campos, making a move to Paris more likely for the striker.

In other news, Napoli right-back Giovanni Di Lorenzo has confirmed he will stay at the club, despite considering leaving after a difficult season. In an open letter to fans, Di Lorenzo expressed his disappointment with the past year but emphasized his commitment to Napoli and his eagerness to start fresh.
