Liverpool’s star forward Mohamed Salah finds himself at the center of transfer speculation as reports from French media suggest that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is eager to secure his services during the summer transfer window. With PSG seeking to revamp their squad following Lionel Messi’s departure, the club’s management reportedly views Salah as an ideal candidate to fill the void left by the Argentine superstar at the Parc des Princes. In an attempt to lure Salah to Paris, PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi is said to have met the Egyptian forward in Morocco to discuss a potential deal.
However, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, swiftly dismissed the reports, taking to Twitter to clarify the situation. Issa wrote, “No, he did not. That’s the short story,” refuting any claims of a meeting between Salah and PSG representatives.
Salah has been a pivotal figure in Liverpool’s attack, demonstrating his exceptional goal-scoring prowess by netting an impressive 30 goals during the 2022-23 season, despite Liverpool’s overall underwhelming performances.
