Manchester United’s Young Striker Addresses Rumors About Teammates Not Passing to Him

Rasmus Hojlund, the young Danish striker for Manchester United, has taken to social media to address rumors circulating about his teammates’ reluctance to pass the ball to him.

Responding to these reports, Hojlund took to Instagram after the match and shared a cryptic message alongside a photo of him celebrating his goal at Old Trafford. The caption read, “Just making sure the number on my back was visible,” accompanied by an image of him ‘shushing’ the away fans.

Hojlund’s journey at Manchester United has seen its share of challenges since his £72 million move from Atalanta last summer. Although he initially struggled to find the back of the net, Hojlund’s recent performances have shown glimpses of his potential, including a prolific run where he scored seven goals in six league games.

As United head into their final game against Brighton, Hojlund’s contribution on the field will be crucial in their quest for European qualification. A win against Brighton is essential, failing which they will need to secure victory against Manchester City in the FA Cup final to ensure a spot in next season’s Europa League.
