Addresses Rift and Clarifies Misunderstanding Over DJ Set Incident
Reality star and DJ Tolanibaj has publicly addressed accusations made by her friend and fellow reality star Avala, who recently called her an “enemy” on social media.
The conflict, which surfaced online, seems to have originated from a misunderstanding during one of Tolanibaj’s DJ sets. Avala criticized Tolanibaj for not playing one of her songs at a club event, leading to Tolanibaj blocking her on Twitter.
In response, Tolanibaj explained her side of the story in a recent post. She revealed that the issue stemmed from poor communication about Avala’s song being included in her DJ set. Tolanibaj emphasized that she was not informed by the event promoter about needing to play Avala’s song.
Tolanibaj wrote: “I’ve made a few calls to understand the issue because we were just at a function last night. I’ve been told that you expected your song to be played during my DJ set, but I had no idea. There was no proper communication from the promoter about including your song in my set.
“My set was supposed to be an hour but got cut to 30 minutes and ended abruptly for the next DJ. I wasn’t happy about this. You told me you were performing, and I was excited for you. I’ve supported your song on all my platforms. How was I supposed to know the plans if nothing was communicated to me?
“I’m really disappointed because your assumption is completely false. We could have cleared this up with a call or text, but there was no effort to hear my side of the story.”
Tolanibaj’s explanation sheds light on the misunderstanding and calls for better communication in the future to avoid such conflicts.
