Zazu Crooner Targeted by Area Boys, but Incident Averted After Fan Intervention
Nigerian singer Portable Omolalomi narrowly escaped a violent attack while on his way to his Zazu Bitters office, according to reports circulating on social media. The singer was reportedly ambushed by a group of area boys, but the situation was swiftly diffused after some of his loyal fans intervened, preventing the attack from escalating.
During the chaos, a man allegedly carrying a gun was apprehended. In a video shared online, the individual can be seen sitting on the ground while Portable, visibly shaken, shouted in the background.
Blood stains on the suspect’s lips suggested that he had already faced some form of retribution for the attempted attack.
Thanks to the timely intervention of Portable’s supporters, the malicious effort was thwarted, and the singer emerged unscathed from the encounter.
