Nigerian Sensation Joins Star-Studded Lineup for Iconic Festival’s Last Hurrah in 2025
Nigerian music superstar Tems is set to grace the stage at the 2025 Dreamville Festival, joining an impressive lineup of global artists for the event’s final edition. Organized by American rapper J. Cole, the festival will take place on April 5 and 6 at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, and will feature a mix of international and homegrown talents.
Tems, who has taken the world by storm with her soulful voice and unique artistry, will perform on Sunday, April 6, alongside headliners J. Cole, Erykah Badu, and other notable acts such as GloRilla, J.I.D, and Coco Jones. Her inclusion in the lineup highlights her growing influence on the global music scene and solidifies her status as one of Africa’s most celebrated exports.
The festival’s first day, Saturday, April 5, will be headlined by Lil Wayne, who will share the stage with Hot Boys (Juvenile, Turk, and B.G.) and Big Tymers (Mannie Fresh and Birdman). Other performers include 21 Savage, Partynextdoor, Ludacris, Ari Lennox, and Chief Keef. Keyshia Cole will also make a special appearance to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut album, The Way It Is.
Dreamville Festival, known for its vibrant mix of music, culture, and community, has been a beloved event since its inception. However, after five successful years, the organizers have announced that the 2025 edition will be the last. In a heartfelt statement released in December, they expressed gratitude to fans and the Dreamville community, saying:
“What a ride it’s been… We can’t thank y’all enough for all the memories we’ve shared. From the very beginning, the idea behind the fest was creating a place where our fans, the Dreamville community, could spend time together, a place where they could see themselves reflected, a place to share in experiences. Let’s run it back one more time in April!”
Over the years, the festival has hosted a diverse array of artists, including Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido, who previously performed at the event. Tems’ participation in the final edition not only celebrates her remarkable journey but also underscores the global appeal of Nigerian music.
As fans eagerly anticipate the festival, Tems’ inclusion is a proud moment for Nigeria, showcasing the country’s thriving music industry on one of the world’s most prestigious stages.
