Zirkzee, who was on the bench during United’s recent Europa League clash against Bodo/Glimt, has attracted interest from Juventus as they look to bolster their attacking options. The club’s sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, recently traveled to Manchester for discussions, not only about Zirkzee but also involving players like Nicolo Fagioli and Douglas Luiz.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus sees an opportunity to secure Zirkzee on a loan deal, leveraging his limited playing time at United this season. The player is said to be keen on the move, particularly for the chance to reunite with Thiago Motta, who has played a significant role in shaping his career.
Giuntoli’s visit reportedly included a meeting with Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, who also represents Douglas Luiz. The strong working relationship between Giuntoli and Joorabchian is believed to play a pivotal role in Juventus’ strategy to finalize the deal.
With Juventus eager to strengthen their squad, Zirkzee’s potential move could provide the player with more opportunities while addressing Juventus’ attacking needs. Talks are expected to continue as the Bianconeri aim to convince Manchester United to agree to the loan arrangement.
