Transfer gossip: PSG prepare to gazump Bayern over Kane as Man Utd eye ex-Chelsea star

PSG have already met with Daniel Levy as they look to steal a march on Bayern over Harry Kane, while Jorge Mendes is at it again with Man Utd…

PSG KEEN ON KANE COUP
Bayern Munich were said to be feeling pretty chipper over their chances of signing Harry Kane, perhaps encouraged by the fact they seemed to have very little competition for England’s record goalscorer. Now, though, there could be a fight brewing over the centre-forward…

It seems PSG have switched their ficus for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic to Kane and a bid is being prepared. Bayern have already had a couple of offers snubbed by Daniel Levy and RMC Sport says the Parisians are reported to be ready to open their bidding at £85million.

A delegation from PSG has already hopped on the Eurostar to London to meet with Spurs officials, including Levy, but they have some work to do to convince Kane to choose Paris over Munich after persuading Tottenham to part with their greatest goalscorer.

INTER LOW-BALL BLUES OVER LUKAKU
Not long ago, Romelu Lukaku was moving between Inter Milan and Chelsea for Kane money. Now Inter want to buy him back for around a quarter of the fee paid by the Blues in 2021.

Lukaku has flopped hard since returning to Stamford Bridge, where he spent just a single season before being packed off back to the San Siro on loan. He struggled to hit the same heights in Serie A last term – but Inter are still be tempted to take him back permanently if Chelsea are willing to have their pants pulled down.

Two years after raking in £97.5million, Inter have offered Chelsea back £25million to re-sign Lukaku. The Telegraph says Chelsea have rejected that proposal and want closer to £40million to part with the Belgian. But his return to Cobham for pre-season has already been delayed until next Monday in the hope that a deal can be reached in the meantime.

PREM TRIO IN TOUCH OVER FELIX
News, we presume, from Jorge Mendes who seems to want us all to believe that Manchester United, Newcastle and Aston Villa are all interested in Joao Felix.

The Portuguese star – Felix, not Mendes – spent the second half of last season on loan at Chelsea where he is said to have been ‘seduced’ by the Premier League. The Blues opted not to sign Felix permanently but the forward is keen to get fixed up again in England.

ABC says United, Newcastle and Villa have all been in touch with Mendes and Felix, even if they are yet to pick up to the phone to Atletico. Perhaps because the Spanish side has made it known they expect a daft sum for a player Diego Simeone doesn’t fancy.
