Activist declines to address corruption allegations, insists Bobrisky must be present
Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has refused to speak at the ongoing House of Representatives probe into bribery allegations involving the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), citing the absence of Bobrisky, a key figure in the investigation.
The panel, which is investigating corruption within the NCS and EFCC, had summoned several individuals, including the EFCC Chairman, the Comptroller General of the NCS, Bobrisky, and VeryDarkMan. The probe also covers Bobrisky’s involvement in naira abuse prosecution.
During the session, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, Lead Chairman of the committee, addressed the corruption allegations, but VeryDarkMan expressed frustration that Bobrisky was not present.
“Today, I will not say anything because an invitation was given out to both me and Bobrisky, but he is not here,” VeryDarkMan stated. “I don’t see why I should be here while he is not, so I won’t say anything, but my lawyer will.”

His decision to withhold comments until Bobrisky is present adds further intrigue to the high-profile investigation, which continues to draw national attention.
