Reality star and anti-bullying advocate, Alex Unusual, recently shared the challenges she faced after false allegations were leveled against her, leading to the loss of a significant deal with a school.
Approximately two years ago, an Instagram blogger, Gistlover, made baseless accusations against Alex Unusual, suggesting her involvement with married men, including comedian AY. Additionally, the blogger falsely claimed that Alex and her stylist, Medlin Boss, were engaged in a lesbian relationship.
In a recent interview on Doyin’s Corner, Alex Unusual disclosed how these unfounded allegations impacted her professional life, resulting in the loss of a deal she had already secured with a school for her Unusual Fest event. Despite initially choosing not to respond to the false claims, Alex addressed the narratives after they affected her project. She challenged the faceless blogger to provide evidence for the allegations, but none was presented.
Alex explained that the school, concerned about the negative online narratives, decided to withdraw from the event at the last minute, causing a setback for the Unusual Fest. The reality star shared her disappointment and frustration during the interview, emphasizing the importance of verifying information before making damaging claims.
