Koko by Khloe Takes to Instagram to Clarify Miscommunication and Denounce Clickbait Tactics
Reality star Koko by Khloe, known for her appearance on BBNaija, has taken a stand against the producers of the Bahd and Boujee podcast, alleging manipulation and bullying after a recent episode stirred controversy. In the episode hosted by Moet Abebe and Tolanibaj, Khloe addressed various topics, including men and money, her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), and comments on natural hair.
Following the episode’s release and the ensuing backlash, Khloe has come forward to accuse the podcast organizers of orchestrating a setup. Taking to Instagram, she posted a lengthy note expressing her frustration and denouncing the producers for what she perceives as misrepresentation.
In her post, Khloe wrote, “May we never become victims of miscommunication… The media and those who control the narrative are truly not to be trusted.” She apologized if certain aspects of her conversation were taken out of context but insisted that much of the criticism stemmed from manipulated and edited content designed as clickbait.
Khloe asserted that her statements were distorted for self-aggrandizement and malicious intent, primarily for clicks, views, and potential monetization. She emphasized that the podcast episode was edited and manipulated to tarnish her image, a motive she struggles to comprehend.
The reality star clarified that she explicitly instructed the hosts and producers not to share the video immediately after shooting. According to her, the producers were intentionally seeking controversial content, leading to a heated argument during the podcast. Despite expressing her desire to disassociate from the podcast’s narrative, Khloe claimed that her request to withhold the episode was disregarded by the show’s organizers.
