Nigerian Media Personality Responds to Criticisms Over Comments on Apostle Emmanuel Iren
Nigerian media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has continued his back-and-forth with social media critic Solomon Buchi, sparking a fierce exchange that has drawn attention across social media. The tension began when Buchi criticized Freeze’s recent comments about Apostle Emmanuel Iren, accusing him of hypocrisy and opportunism.
In a strongly worded post, Buchi accused Daddy Freeze of disrespecting Pastor Iren while simultaneously associating with Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, a prominent figure whom Buchi described as using his position for material gain and influence. Buchi also referenced Daddy Freeze’s past attempt to lead an online congregation, mocking the initiative as hypocritical given his current stance.
Daddy Freeze responded by calling out Buchi’s perceived change in attitude since relocating to the United Kingdom with his wife. Taking the feud further, Freeze posted a throwback video on his Instagram, showing Buchi in an emotional plea for help during a past Instagram live session. In his caption, Freeze appeared to question Buchi’s gratitude, writing, “May We Not Invest In The Head Of A Betrayer! Solomon, stop biting the fingers that fed you! Be grateful. This is the same platform you came to beg for handouts.”
