Erisco Foods Limited Rewards Outstanding JAMB Candidates with Cash Awards

Erisco Foods Limited, a leading food manufacturing company, has recognized and rewarded exceptional performance in the last Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination. Kamsiyochukwu Nkechinyere, who emerged as the overall best candidate with a remarkable score of 360, was presented with a cash award of N2.5 million.

The prestigious awards ceremony took place at Erisco’s headquarters in Lagos and was presided over by the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Eric Umeofia. Alongside Kamsiyochukwu, Analogwu David, who achieved the third-highest score of 351, was also honored during the event. Furthermore, the school team comprising Eze Emmanuel, the school administrator, Pastor Michael Ajala, the principal of the senior school, and Kamsiyochukwu’s teachers were present to celebrate the achievements.

In recognition of the school’s commitment to fostering excellence, Erisco Foods Limited also extended a cash reward of N600,000 to the school team. The second runner-up, Imoukhuede Andrew, who scored an impressive 355, was unable to attend the ceremony but was presented with a cash award of N100,000. Similarly, the third runner-up, Alagwu David, who scored 351, received a cash prize of N100,000.

Chief Eric Umeofia expressed his motivation for extending these awards, highlighting the significance of nurturing and encouraging young talents. He emphasized that these exceptional individuals represent the future generation, and it is crucial to support and recognize their achievements. Umeofia also praised the efforts of the teachers in guiding and molding the students’ academic excellence.

Addressing the recipients, Chief Umeofia urged them to remain steadfast in their pursuit of knowledge and personal development. He encouraged them not to be swayed by negative influences in their generation and to uphold the values instilled by their parents and teachers.

The Administrator of Deeper Life High School, Mowe, Ogun State, expressed his pride in the school’s culture of excellence, attributing their success to the emphasis placed on academic brilliance. He mentioned that the school had previously produced students who achieved outstanding results in the West African Examination Council (WAEC) with straight A’s.
