Former BBNaija Housemate Tolani Baj Shares Insights on How to Win the Show

Tolani Baj, a recently evicted housemate from Big Brother Naija All Stars, has revealed what she believes is the winning strategy for contestants on the popular reality show. In an exclusive interview, she discussed her views on the importance of sharing a compelling story and her unique approach to the game.

Tolani Baj, known for her candid and unfiltered opinions, disclosed that contestants who aim to secure victory in the Big Brother Naija house need a strong “pity story” to gather a significant audience and win hearts. She emphasized that participants without such narratives may find it challenging to garner affection and support from viewers.

However, Tolani Baj made it clear that she personally refrained from adopting the “pity technique,” as it did not align with her character. “If you want to win the show, you need to have a pity story… but that’s not my character to want people to pity me,” she stated.

Addressing her decision to forego the traditional media tour typically undertaken by evicted housemates, Tolani Baj explained that she chose to be “selfish with her time.” She expressed her desire to enjoy some personal time without the pressures of early morning schedules and daily makeup routines.

Reflecting on her journey in the BBNaija All Stars house, Tolani Baj revealed that her primary goal was to have fun rather than aggressively compete for the coveted 120 million Naira grand prize. She highlighted her relaxed approach to the game, emphasizing that she did not join the competition solely to win money.

“The game that I played even backfired. I did not go there to win the money. If you remember, on day one when they asked, I said no pressure, I’m just here,” she affirmed.
