Popular Rapper Seeks Redress Following Allegations of Wrongdoing
Afeez Fashola, widely recognized as Naira Marley, has embarked on a legal battle against actress Iyabo Ojo, filing a staggering N500 million lawsuit through his legal representatives, Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co.
The legal dispute arises from accusations made by Iyabo Ojo on her Instagram account in September 2023, implicating Naira Marley in both spiritual and physical dealings with the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad.
Mohbad tragically passed away in the same month, and Iyabo Ojo’s allegations have injected additional tension into an already sensitive situation. Naira Marley’s legal team contends that the actress’s Instagram post contained malicious and inaccurate content, accusing the rapper of subjecting Mohbad to mental torment during his lifetime.
In response to these serious allegations, Naira Marley’s attorney has issued a letter to Iyabo Ojo, demanding a public apology within seven days. The letter emphasizes that failure to comply with this request for an apology will prompt the initiation of a full-fledged lawsuit against the actress.
