In a recent heart-to-heart conversation with Chude, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) sensation Ilebaye bared her soul, shedding light on the emotional highs and lows she faced during her time in the BBNaija house. The interview also delved into the subsequent reconciliation between Ilebaye and fellow housemate Ike Onyema.
During the revealing interview, Ilebaye did not hold back as she candidly discussed the turbulent incident involving Ike in the BBNaija house. The episode, where Ike threw her clothes, left her emotionally wounded and questioning her worth.
“I felt sad. I felt low. I felt like, what did I do to deserve this? Like any human would literally be hurt,” expressed Ilebaye, highlighting the emotional toll the incident took on her. She longed for better communication and understanding during challenging moments in the house.
To cope with the intense emotions, Ilebaye shared, “I just go to bed, and sleep, and cry. I either go into the toilet and cry out my mind, or I go to bed, pray, cry, and sleep.”

In a surprising turn of events, Ilebaye disclosed that she initiated a conversation with Ike, directly addressing the troubling incident. Ike, in turn, offered sincere apologies, acknowledging his wrongdoing.
“But I and Ike, we are cool now. Once outside the house, I talked to him, I asked him about it, and he apologized. I came out, and he said, ‘congratulations, I am so sorry for what happened in the house.’ We even gist. If I see him, we just talk,” revealed Ilebaye, highlighting the maturity and resolution that have come to define their post-BBNaija relationship.
