Singer Acknowledges Misstep After Colleague’s Rebuke Over Davido Incident
Daniel Benson, professionally known as BNXN, has extended an apology following a public exchange with his colleague Dremo, prompted by a controversy involving Davido.
The incident unfolded after BNXN engaged in a social media altercation with a fan of Davido, during which he made remarks perceived as disrespectful towards the DMW leader. Davido’s subsequent deletion of a tweet hinting at a collaboration with BNXN further fueled the controversy.
In response to Davido’s actions, BNXN asserted his intention to release the song without Davido’s approval, asserting his creative ownership of the project. Despite his initial stance, BNXN offered an apology on Thursday evening after being chastised by DMW signee Dremo for his perceived disrespect towards Davido.
Dremo, in a tweet directed at BNXN, expressed disapproval of his behavior, highlighting the potential consequences of incendiary social media posts. BNXN, in turn, acknowledged his misstep and issued an apology, indicating his willingness to rectify the situation.
