Afrobeats Star Highlights Chef Chi’s Cooking Prowess to Kai Cenat During Lamborghini Ride
Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, showcased his pride in his wife’s culinary talents during a drive around Lagos with American streamer Kai Cenat.
The music icon, cruising through the bustling streets of Lagos in his Lamborghini, took the opportunity to boast to Cenat about his wife, Chef Chi, also known as Chioma, dubbing her the best chef in Nigeria.
Cenat, who recently arrived in Lagos for an interactive meet-and-greet with Nigerian content creators, was treated to an insider’s view of the city by Shank Comics, one of Nigeria’s prominent creators.
Davido expressed regret that his wife wasn’t present to cook for Cenat, emphasizing that she would have prepared a delightful meal for the American visitor. He went on to praise Chioma’s culinary prowess, asserting that if he were to open a restaurant in Atlanta, USA, he would entrust it to her culinary expertise.
“I wish my wife was here, bro. If my wife was here she would have cooked you the best food ever. Her name is Chioma, she is the best chef ever, the best chef in Nigeria. If I had opened a restaurant in Atlanta, I’m gonna give it to my wife,” Davido remarked.
Cenat, visibly impressed by Davido’s praise for his wife, acknowledged her talents with a shoutout, expressing his appreciation for her culinary skills.
The exchange between Davido and Cenat highlighted not only the singer’s admiration for his wife but also showcased the cultural exchange and hospitality that characterize interactions between Nigerian artists and international visitors.
