Social Media Mix-Up: Davido Extends Explanation after Former Winner Questions His Alleged Dislike
In a social media twist, award-winning musician Davido found himself addressing a misunderstanding with former Big Brother Naija (BBN) winner Phyna, who publicly questioned why the singer seemed to harbor animosity towards her. Phyna’s post, which expressed congratulations to Davido for the birth of his twins but also alluded to perceived animosity, prompted a response from the artist.
The former BBN winner took to her page, posting, “Wetin I do @davido 😩 Na wah oh, The hate is real…, Congratulations on your twins sha✌️” This sparked speculation about a strained relationship between the two.
It appeared that Davido had blocked Phyna on the X app, a social media platform formerly known as Twitter, adding to the confusion. However, Davido swiftly addressed the situation, offering an explanation for the misunderstanding.
In his response, Davido thanked Phyna for her congratulatory message but clarified that he genuinely doesn’t know who she is. He attributed the confusion to an honest mistake and expressed no ill intentions, saying, “Thank you love ❤️ but I actually don’t know who you are .. and it was an honest mistake .. no vex.
