Model Adetutu Alabi Calls Out Davido Over Alleged Unsettled Debt for Music Video Feature

LAGOS, August 5, 2023 – Adetutu Alabi, a renowned tribal mark model, has taken to social media to publicly call out Afrobeat sensation Davido Adeleke over an alleged unpaid debt related to a music video feature. In a post shared on her Instagram account, the model revealed her experience of being featured as a video vixen in one of Davido’s music videos.

Adetutu, known for her unique tribal facial marks, disclosed that she had been contacted by Davido himself to appear in the music video. Despite the absence of any formal documentation, she claimed that her agreement with the artist was based on a verbal understanding and a message from him that said, “Go home, you’ll be credited.”

Expressing her excitement as a young and naive participant in the music industry, Adetutu admitted to not formalizing any written agreement due to her trust in the artist’s word. However, after the video shoot, she stated that she only received transportation expenses from Davido’s manager, Asa Asika.

Adetutu recounted her attempts to reach out to Davido for payment but claimed to have received no response. She also revealed that she had sought the help of social media influencer Oyemykke to mediate the issue with Davido but had yet to receive any resolution.
