In a dramatic turn of events, Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Primeboy, who was declared wanted by the Lagos State Police Command in connection with the death of Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, has voluntarily surrendered to authorities. This development comes after the police declared Primeboy wanted and placed a bounty of N1 million on his head.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos Police Command, revealed that the decision to declare Primeboy wanted was made after he failed to respond to an invitation related to the death of Mohbad, who was reportedly Primeboy’s childhood friend.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the fatal incident occurred during a heated confrontation between Primeboy and Mohbad, wherein Primeboy allegedly used a fetish object against the deceased.
Providing an update on the situation on Thursday afternoon, Hundeyin stated, “Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has immediately been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.”
Hundeyin assured the public that the Lagos State Police Command is committed to conducting a thorough and diligent investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death. He emphasized that no stone will be left unturned, and the authorities are determined to bring all individuals found culpable in the case to justice.
“The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad, and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation. The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr. Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice,” Hundeyin affirmed.
