Confesses to Swallowing Pride and Issuing Warning About Reckless Online Speech
Street pop sensation Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable Zazu, recently revealed how he humbled himself to seek forgiveness from controversial Nigerian socialite Samson Erinfolami Balogun, also known as Sam Larry.
In a candid video, Portable shared details about his recent legal troubles and warned against reckless speech on social media. The controversy began with Portable’s diss track “Alimi,” where he stated, “Life is full of Sam Larry,” amidst the involvement of Naira Marley and Sam Larry in the tragic death of singer Mohbad.
Portable disclosed that both Naira Marley and Sam Larry forgave him for the harsh lyrics. He explained that tensions had escalated between him and Sam Larry, leading Naira Marley to intervene and personally ask Sam Larry to forgive Portable.
“Sam Larry told me not to mention his name online again because it damages his reputation. I begged him to let me use my glory,” Portable said in the video.
Portable also mentioned resolving the car case that led to his arrest, which began when he tried to evade capture by scaling a gate.
