When “Omo Olomo” Caused Chaos
During a recent podcast appearance, the 31-year-old hitmaker revisited the explosive incident that saw Wizkid label him a “fool” and “clout animal.” The drama erupted when Reekado’s team announced their collab track during the tense #EndSARS protests – against the artist’s own advice.
“I didn’t want to put the music out,” Reekado confessed. “I urged my management not to, but they insisted… It was so bad at the time.” When asked if he regretted the decision, his answer was immediate: “Absolutely.”
The Restaurant Reconciliation
Three years after the social media storm, peace was finally made over what we can only imagine was good food. “He came to my restaurant recently,” Reekado shared. “We had a little talk, and he was regretful.”
In a surprising revelation, Reekado disclosed Wizkid’s emotional reflection: “He mentioned his behavior towards Don Jazzy too… We’re three people in the game who recently lost our moms. He feels sorry about that time.”
