Three Brands Commit to Fulfilling Pledges as Multichoice Reaches Out After Public Callout
Popular reality star Phyna, winner of BBNaija season 7, has provided an update regarding the outstanding prizes owed to her by Multichoice, the organizers of the reality show, after publicly calling them out for non-fulfillment.
Phyna’s grievances gained attention when the Practitioners of Content Creating Skit-making and Influencers Guild of Nigeria (PCCSIGN) intervened, sending a memo to Multichoice urging them to settle their debts with the reality star.
In a recent update, Phyna disclosed that three brands, in collaboration with Multichoice, have agreed to fulfill their pledges to her. Pepsi has committed to supplying her with their drinks for one year, Travelbeta has agreed to a trip for two, and UNIK Soap will provide her with soap for one year.
However, the promise of receiving 1 BTC (Bitcoin) is yet to be fulfilled, raising further concerns about the completion of all commitments made during the show.
A public statement released by PCCSIGN addressed the progress made and the outstanding issues, stating, “On behalf of the Practitioners of Content Creation, Skit-making, and Influencers Guild (PCCSIGN), we write to you regarding our previous correspondence with your organization concerning Phyna’s outstanding debts.”
“We extend our appreciation for your prompt resolution response concerning the debts owed by MultiChoice Nigeria, encompassing Seven-Up Bottling Company (Pepsi), Travelbeta, and Evans Industries (UNIKSoap).”
The statement continued, “While we await a response from MultiChoice Nigeria regarding Quidax Global and the ‘1 BTC’ promised to the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7 (Level Up) housemate, we implore your esteemed brand to honor its commitments and settle the outstanding debt owed to Phyna within three (3) days.”
The message concluded with a warning of potential escalation and legal action if the outstanding matters are not addressed promptly.
Phyna’s update highlights the ongoing efforts to ensure that all promises made during BBNaija season 7 are fulfilled, emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in such engagements.
